Our Online Therapy Clinic lets you have effective Psychology sessions for Eating Disorders with one of our expert team of Therapists and Psychologists online, with no waiting lists - wherever you are located.
You can use your laptop, PC or Android Tablet and Phone to talk to your Therapist, using our safe, secure and reliable Online Psychology Clinic.
We are experts in helping people overcome Eating Disorders problems as quickly as possible, using scientifically proven Psychological Therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Research shows that Online treatment can be just as effective as seeing your Therapist or Psychologist face-to-face. It can often be a lot more convenient too.
Meeting your Therapist via secure webcam is also particularly useful for people who don’t live near one of our clinics, or who are based outside the UK but still want to access the benefits of a UK Private Therapy Clinic.
We’re experts in Online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
‘Our Online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is exactly the same as visiting one of our clinics. You can meet a highly qualified Therapist in our team via webcam. It’s highly secure and confidential, which means you can have the same benefits of a face-to-face Therapy session, even if you’re not actually able to come in and visit your Therapist in person.
We don’t use cheap Therapy software, which can sometimes be given to people by the NHS or some other Private Therapy clinics. Instead we believe that the benefit of having Therapy is being able to speak in detail about your problems to an expert who really cares about your progress.
During your first Online CBT Session, your Therapist will take time to understand the difficulties that you are facing, and will make recommendations about how to move forward with the best approach to Therapy for you.
Most courses of Online Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy last between 6 – 16 sessions.
There are lots of reasons to choose Online Psychotherapy with us. Here are some important benefits...
You don’t have to travel to our clinic - or even be located in the UK. We have a wide range of different times that you can meet with your Therapist, including evenings and weekends. They’re simply available on your computer or mobile device.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a highly effective Psychotherapy that is often quite a short term treatment. On average our clients usually need between 6-12 sessions. Having your CBT Online is equally as effective as face-to-face for most people.
Some clinics offer Skype Therapy. However we believe that this isn’t a secure or professional way to provide treatment as the connection quality is often poor, and there is no guarantee that your session is secure from cyber hackers. Our Online CBT Clinic uses state-of-the-art medical consultation software that is incredibly reliable and secure.
Our team of Therapists and Psychologists are some of the most highly qualified and experienced professionals working in psychological health in the UK. This means we’re confident that we can help with most problems that our clients might be wanting online therapy to deal with.
We’ve tried to answer the main questions that people often have about starting Therapy Online below. If you have a question that isn’t listed here please Contact Us, and we’ll be happy to answer it for you.
Yes, it’s very secure. We take client confidentiality incredibly seriously, and so our Online Therapy Clinic is built to the same level of internet security encryption as online banking or shopping websites. We are aware that some clinics offer Skype Therapy or FaceTime type tools, however, we believe that these don’t offer the level of security necessary to protect your personal information from hacking. That’s why we have a custom-built, secure clinic environment which uses leading medical conferencing software that is ‘HIPAA’ compliant. This is the highest level of internet security certification for electronic healthcare.
You can use your laptop/desktop computer as well as supported webcam enabled phones and tablets to join your appointment. Please be aware, however, that for security reasons our clinic will not work in an Apple Safari browser. We therefore recommend you use Google Chrome when logging into our Online Therapy Clinic area, and check that your internet connection is strong enough for live video streaming. We recommend a minimum dedicated 350kb/s down per downloaded stream, as well as 350kb/s up per uploaded stream to maintain a stable video connection. You can check your current connection speed here.
Online CBT sessions are the same length as face-to-face Therapy appointments – usually 50 minutes. Sometimes it might be necessary for you to have a slightly longer appointment, however your Therapist will advise you if this is the case. We usually suggest that people make sure they have at least an hour available for the session.
Our Online CBT Session fees are the same as if you were visiting your Therapist face to face. They are based upon the location of your Therapist and the time of day that your appointment happens. Our Current Therapy Fees can be found by Clicking Here.
It depends. Some insurers will allow you to use your policy for either face-to-face CBT sessions or Online CBT sessions, however some insurers won’t allow this. Unfortunately we don’t have any control over these decisions and so you should speak to your insurer to check whether your policy includes the option for Online Therapy sessions.
Yes, of course. If you’re likely to want to mix online and face-to-face sessions during your treatment we recommend that you choose a Therapist who works from a Dynamic You Clinic near you. Not all of our Therapists offer Online Therapy sessions, and some of our team do not offer sessions in any of our nationwide clinics. You can check where our Therapists can provide you sessions by reading our team page, here.
We’ll try our best to offer you a first appointment at a time which fits best for you. Sometimes it’s possible to have an appointment on the same day, depending upon our Therapist’s availabilities. Please Contact Us online, or call our Reception Team on: 0800 0614548 and we’ll be able to find an appointment for you as soon as possible.
