Is It Secure?
Yes, it’s very secure. We take client confidentiality incredibly seriously, and so our Online Therapy Clinic is built to the same level of internet security encryption as online banking or shopping websites. We are aware that some clinics offer Skype Therapy or FaceTime type tools, however, we believe that these don’t offer the level of security necessary to protect your personal information from hacking. That’s why we have a custom-built, secure clinic environment which uses leading medical conferencing software that is ‘HIPAA’ compliant. This is the highest level of internet security certification for electronic healthcare.
What Are The System Requirements?
You can use your laptop/desktop computer as well as supported webcam enabled phones and tablets to join your appointment. Please be aware, however, that for security reasons our clinic will not work in an Apple Safari browser. We therefore recommend you use Google Chrome when logging into our Online Therapy Clinic area, and check that your internet connection is strong enough for live video streaming. We recommend a minimum dedicated 350kb/s down per downloaded stream, as well as 350kb/s up per uploaded stream to maintain a stable video connection. You can check your current connection speed here.
How long are Online CBT Therapy Sessions?
Online CBT sessions are the same length as face-to-face Therapy appointments – usually 50 minutes. Sometimes it might be necessary for you to have a slightly longer appointment, however your Therapist will advise you if this is the case. We usually suggest that people make sure they have at least an hour available for the session.
How Much does Online CBT Cost?
Our Online CBT Session fees are the same as if you were visiting your Therapist face to face. They are based upon the location of your Therapist and the time of day that your appointment happens. Our Current Therapy Fees can be found by Clicking Here.
Can I use my health insurance for Online CBT?
It depends. Some insurers will allow you to use your policy for either face-to-face CBT sessions or Online CBT sessions, however some insurers won’t allow this. Unfortunately we don’t have any control over these decisions and so you should speak to your insurer to check whether your policy includes the option for Online Therapy sessions.
Can I mix Online sessions with coming into the Clinic?
Yes, of course. If you’re likely to want to mix online and face-to-face sessions during your treatment we recommend that you choose a Therapist who works from a Dynamic You Clinic near you. Not all of our Therapists offer Online Therapy sessions, and some of our team do not offer sessions in any of our nationwide clinics.
